Keep him as a boyfriend or go to the friend zone?

I have been dating this kid for 3 months..I've never fallen for someone quite this much.. It's really scaring me because I have been cheated on before and it ruined my whole year. This kid loves me and I know it. But, he will be going to college this year while I will still be in high school.. So what do I do? Keep him as a friend or continue dating.. He'll only be an hour away but still.. Help/advice? :/
