Tell him exactly that. That you know things will work out for him soon and that you are patient enough to wait til it does. If that isnt enough then just look for ways that he can help you out. Men in general need to feel important, so just make sure to find ways that dont make him feel like he is leeching off you, and dont go completely out of your way to do everything for him, i'm sure he appreciates it, but guys hate to feel like they cant do anything on their own.
