My dog went to the vet for a leg procedure and got a mrsa-type infection.?

The antibiotic they gave her caused kidney failure and she has needed 24/7 specialty care at a different clinic for a week. Should I be expected to pay for all this extra care? The infection came from the clinic and then all the other complications followed. PS: the leg problem didn't get resolved because the infection destroyed the surgical repair.
